Women, particularly single mothers, have a much harder road to homeownership. I love working with Habitat for Humanity on the Women Build project. It's so inspiring to hear the stories of these women who purchase homes (they aren't given to them) and how that ownership helps them become an essential member of their community...everyone wins!
