As a single mom, home owner and survivor of domestic violence, I know how important it is for women to have equitable access to the home buyer’s market. That’s why I am participating in Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build. So women like me can have the support, resources, and confidence to create a safe and stable home for their families. On October 14th, myself and some of my amazing coworkers will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a woman in need. My goal is to raise $350, not only to sponsor my spot in the build, but to offset the cost of building materials and supplies. Join me in providing the security, stability, and equity that comes from safe and affordable homeownership for women, particularly single moms and survivors of domestic violence.
