A Message From Kourtney Gallagher

Women Build is way more than building a home; it is about building a future and a strong foundation for members of our community. Fair access to safe, accessible, and affordable housing is vital to the wellbeing of women and their families. Where we live is at the very core of our daily lives. In the U.S. 1 in 6 families are paying half or more of their income on housing. Women are disproportionately affected by this cost burden and when families are forced to spend an unreasonable amount of their income on housing other important necessities such as healthcare, education, and nutrition that families depend on suffer.
